Step and wall lights offer aesthetically pleasing illumination and safety. These lights illuminate outdoor areas to help residents and guests navigate stairs and minimize safety hazards. In addition, they highlight attractive architectural aspects of a home and easily blend with its design style. 

Design styles are diverse, ranging from traditional louver styles to clean and simple modern designs. Steplights may be placed in the vertical part of the step (the riser), under the tread, in the tread, itself, as a ‘marker’, or from the side, in the case of a flight of stairs with rails or side walls, or ‘cheek’ walls.

On this project, we were able to install linear LEDs step lights under the step to give it the “floating” effect. This project allowed us to install the LEDs in such a place that it would highlight the step to give it a unique look. Highlighting the step also shows the location of the step and can serve as a useful tool to alert others where the step is when it gets dark out. A very modern look with much functionality.
